Campaign Background

It is the 347th year of the Second Age, and Erinya is rent by war. Eighty years ago the Kingdom of Alitha collapsed under the weight of its social woes and underwent a violent revolution. After half a decade of turmoil and rapid societal shift a single figure rose to the top of that bloody pile to reclaim the Alithan Throne. Alec de Goff was a populist leader who had been raised in the old aristocracy but who had sided with the masses that cried out for their rights and the progress of society. With the respect of the upper classes and the adoration of the people, he renamed himself Alexius and promised to bring the enemies of Alitha to justice.
